A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to manage mall foot fall tracking systems, perform market research, perform mall shoppers’ survey and perform merchant sales turnover study. The outcome of this competency unit is sourced and captured mall business related data to support management decision making process. Mall management team will be able to closely anticipate the business environment and formulate strategic decision to resolve business issues. Market research also provide a scientific finding in supporting management decision which may reduce loses due to wrong decision.
