this CU should be able to plan
distribution transformer
maintenance requirements,
perform distribution transformer
maintenance and perform
distribution transformer testing.
The outcome of this CU is
distribution transformer
maintained safely so as the
functionality and reliability
according to manufacturer
requirement, Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447), Electricity
Regulations 1994, TNB Safety
Rules, JKR, Local Authority,
Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU),
CIDB, SEB or license holder.

Objektif PembelajaranThe learning outcomes of this competency are trainees enable to maintain the distribution
transformer safely so as the functionality and reliability according to manufacturer requirement,
Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447), Electricity Regulations 1994, TNB Safety Rules, JKR,
Local Authority, Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU), CIDB, SEB or license holder.
Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to:
1. Plan distribution transformer maintenance requirements.
2. Perform distribution transformer maintenance.
3. Perform distribution transformer testing.
