| Penerangan CU | Low Voltage Overhead System Installation and Maintenance describes an activity of installing and maintenance of overhead system below 1kV according to drawings, SOP, maintenance checklist, testing sequence, specifications and regulations. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to plan LV overhead system installation and maintenance requirements, perform LV overhead system installation and perform LV overhead system maintenance. The outcome of this CU is low voltage overhead system installed and maintained safely so as the functionality and reliability according to OSHA 1994, CIDB requirements, Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447), MS IEC 60364: Electrical Installation of Buildings, MS 1979 (COP), MS 1936: Guide to MS IEC 60364, Electricity Regulations 1994, Local Authorities, Electricity Ordinance and Electricity Rules 1999, SEB, SESB, TNB, JKR, Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU), or License holder, Factory and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967 |

Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Plan LV overhead system installation and maintenance requirements. 2. Perform LV overhead system installation. 3.
