| Penerangan CU | Penetrant Testing (PT) – Solvent Removable Technique Operation describes the competency in performing PT operation on power generation materials, components and welded constructions using visible and fluorescent solvent removable technique. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify test items, set up PT equipment and accessories, acquire PT consumables, prepare safety requirements, prepare test items surface area, execute PT visible solvent removable technique, execute PT fluorescent solvent removable technique, perform PT equipment, accessories and consumables post-test condition and perform PT equipment, accessories and consumables inventory works. The outcome of this CU is the preparation, execution and recording of PT operation using visible and fluorescent solvent removable technique is performed effectively in accordance with approved written work instruction. |
