| Penerangan CU | Penetrant Testing (PT) – Solvent Removable Technique Works describes the competency in performing PT works on power generation materials, components and welded constructions using visible and fluorescent solvent removable technique. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare PT visible and fluorescent solvent removable written work instruction, verify PT solvent removable consumables and equipment accessories against issuance checklist, prepare safety requirements, perform PT works using visible solvent removable technique, perform PT works using fluorescent solvent removable technique, evaluate PT indications, produce PT report and carry out post-test works. The outcome of this CU is the preparation, execution and reporting of Penetrant Testing (PT) – Solvent Removable Technique Works is executed effectively in accordance with approved written work instruction and/or approved procedure. |
