| Penerangan CU | NDT Methods Evaluation describes the competency in understanding the principle of NDT methods, executing the inspection with the correct selection of NDT methods in accordance with component materials and configurations to ensure competent person is able to perform correct evaluation of NDT methods in accordance with applicable requirements in the relevant areas. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assess Penetrant Testing (PT) method application, assess Magnetic Testing (MT) method application, assess Radiographic Testing (RT) method application, assess Ultrasonic Testing (UT) method application and assess Eddy Current Testing (ET) method application. The outcome of this CU is NDT methods (PT, MT, RT, UT and ET) are accessed for specific application in material quality determination in accordance with applicable NDT codes, standards and specifications and requirements. |
