| Penerangan CU | Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Work Planning describes the competency of the personnel in planning UT work to ensure competent person is able to determine which approved UT procedure to be used and to select types of UT equipment and accessories for use in accordance with equipment checklist and work requirements. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to utilize approved UT written work procedures for rail and joints, utilize approved UT written work procedure for axles, prepare UT equipment issuance checklist, select UT equipment and accessories, identify and mark inspection area of interest and prepare test item surface area of interest for ultrasonic inspection. The outcome of this CU is Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Work Planning is implemented for inspection activity in accordance with approved written procedure. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcome of this competency unit is the composite Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Work Planning including equipment maintenance and inventory are executed in accordance with approved written work instruction. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Utilize approved UT written work procedures for rail and joints. 2. Utilize approved UT written work procedure for axles. 3. Prepare UT equipment issuance checklist. 4. Select UT equipment and accessories. 5. Identify and mark inspection area of interest. 6.
