Penerangan CUUltrasonic Testing (UT) Technique Execution describes the competency of the personnel in ultrasonic technique execution to ensure competent person is able to set up UT equipment and to select the approved technique for ultrasonic work execution in accordance with approved written procedure.


The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to acquire approved UT written procedure, setup UT equipment, adopt UT inspection technique, execute UT scanning on area of interest, mark area having UT indications and analyse UT indications.


The outcome of this CU is Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technique Execution performed effectively in accordance with the approved written procedure.
