| Penerangan CU | Underwater Ship Visual Inspection describes the competency in carrying out underwater ship inspection on the submerged areas of the ship to detect any problems and take remedial action quickly. The visual inspection activities cannot be certified as the diver do not possess certified underwater Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) license. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out pre ship visual inspection preparation, carry out pre dive routine, carry out underwater ship pre and post visual inspection and carry out post dive routine. The outcome of this CU is the defect and abnormalities on underwater ship surface recorded and submitted according to organisation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |
