| Penerangan CU | Machining Production & Process Planning describes the integration of process activities between design and manufacturing of parts. It can be defined as the systematic determination of methods and procedures of how to manufacture a component economically and efficiently. It translates various qualitative and quantitative requirements of a product into manufacturing instructions. At the same time, it also identifies various resources of manufacturing of a product. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to review engineering drawing, establish machining operation process and produce process planning documentation.The outcomes of this CU are the selection and sequencing of machining processes produced complete with manufacturing details work instructions, production equipment, tooling, jigs and fixtures and quality assurance in accordance with machining requirements and specifications. |
