| Penerangan CU | Combined Cycle Power Plant Start Up Operation describes an essential and fundamental process competency in power plant operation to perform plant start-up including safe start all plant auxiliaries and major system in order to comply with grid system operator dispatch instruction or plant requirement. The combined-cycle power system shall be start up according to Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) start-up procedures. Combined cycle power plant system shall be start-up in sequences, which include equipment energization, steam turbine & gas turbine synchronization, balance of plant and utilities start-up in accordance with work instruction for dispatch instruction or after maintenance work. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare plant start-up activities, carry out electrical supply energization and switching, carry out pneumatic air supply restoration, carry out valve line up, carry out balance of plant preparation, carry out gas turbine turning gear barring operation, carry out steam turbine turning gear operation, carry out water filling at water steam cycle system, confirm plant start up requirement and complete plant start-up operation. The outcome of this CU is combined cycle power plant started up smoothly and safely in accordance with work instruction to meet National Load Dispatch requirement. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency unit are trainees enable to execute smooth and safe power plant start-up process to meet National Load Dispatch requirement. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Prepare plant start-up activities. 2. Carry out electrical supply energization and switching. 3. Carry out pneumatic air supply restoration. 4. Carry out valve line up. 5. Carry out balance of plant preparation. 6. Carry out gas turbine turning gear barring operation 7. Carry out steam turbine turning gear operation. 8. Carry out water filling at water steam cycle system. 9. Confirm plant start-up requirement. 10. Complete plant start-up operation. |
