| Penerangan CU | Combined Cycle Power Plant Shut Down Operation describes an essential and fundamental competency in power plant operation to perform plant shut down including safe shut down all plant auxiliaries and major system in order to comply with grid system operator dispatch instruction or plant requirement. The combined-cycle power system shall be shut down according to Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) shutdown procedures. CCPP system shall be shut down in sequences, which include equipment de-energization, steam turbine & gas turbine de-synchronization, BOP and utilities shutdown in accordance with work instruction for dispatch instruction or related maintenance work. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare plant shut down activities, carry out gas turbine load reduction and de-synchronising operation, carry out steam turbine load reduction and de-synchronising operation, carry out gas turbine and steam turbine turning gear stop operation, carry out lube oil system stop operation, carry out balance of plant shut down operation, carry out pneumatic air supply shut down operation and carry out electrical supply de-energization and switching operation. The outcome of this CU is combined cycle power plant shut down efficiently and safely in accordance with work instruction to meet National Load Dispatch and / or related maintenance work requirement. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency unit are trainees enable to accomplish smooth and safe power plant shut down process to meet National Load Dispatch or related maintenance work requirement. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Prepare plant shut down activities. 2. Carry out gas turbine load reduction and de-synchronizing operation. 3. Carry out steam turbine load reduction and de-synchronizing operation.. 4. Carry out gas turbine and steam turbine turning gear stop operation. 5. Carry out lube oil system stop operation. 6.
