| Penerangan CU | Computer Aided Design (CAD) Data & Product Drawing Analysis describes the activity process for identifying the appropriate format of the data and the specifications of the drawings that are readable, compatible and machinability for manufacturing. The use of CAD is not only to aid in the creation, analysis and even modification of design. CAD can be used to plot curves and figures in two-dimensional (2D) space or curves, surfaces and solids in a three-dimensional (3D) space. The data analysed will be used to produce the product engineering drawings and will be converted to custom CAM software for the next process.The person who is competent in this CU should be able to perform CAD data assessment, identify product drawing specifications, perform CAD data analysis and perform CAD data conversion.The outcomes of this CU are CAD data and detailed drawing designs which include 2D & 3D models are compatible and conformed to operation/ production capability in accordance with machining process requirements. |
