This ensures continuous supply of current flow to the required system or power rail. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to perform DC switchgears visual inspection, service DC switchgears equipment and instruments, service DC switchgears and equipment termination and record DC switchgears functional tests results. The outcome of this CU is DC switchgears that is well maintained according to company standard operating procedure and original equipment manufacturer manual so that it is free from potential faults and continuously supply DC traction power. |
