| Penerangan CU | Mechanical Precision Equipment and Instrument Calibration Planning describes the planning of calibration work in order to minimize the precision equipment and instrument drift. Even the highest quality instruments will drift over time and lose their ability to provide accurate measurements. It is therefore critical that all instruments are calibrated at appropriate intervals. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare equipment calibration requirements, set equipment calibration interval and produce calibration master schedule. The outcome of this CU is calibration schedule produced in maximizing the efficiency of the precision equipment and instrument in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedure. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to produce calibration schedule which aims to maximize the efficiency of the precision equipment and instrument where calibrators will be doing the calibration work in accordance with standard operating procedure. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Prepare equipment calibration requirements. 2. Set equipment calibration interval. 3. Produce calibration master schedule. |
