| Penerangan CU | Tool & Cutter Grinder Operation describes the activity of re-sharpening all the cutting tool available in the machining operation. The cutting tool family that involves in this process encompasses milling cutters, drilling tool bits and host of other cutting tool machinery. The tool & cutter grinder machine operation will require two main skills which includes the knowledge of cutting tool geometry and the relationship between the grinding wheel and the cutting tool (metal being cut). The person who is competent in this CU should be able to perform tool & cutter grinder machine daily maintenance, interpret cutting tool technical drawing, prepare tool & cutter grinder cutting tool and accessories, set up tool & cutter grinder grinding wheel, perform tool & cutter grinder machine operation, inspect finished cutting tool and perform tool & cutter grinder machine daily housekeeping. The outcomes of this CU are all types of cutting tool for machining process is ready for usage in machining operation and consistently in sharp condition in compliance of finished cutting tool specifications. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency unit are trainees able to produce a sharp and perfect cutting tool condition using tool & cutter grinder machine in compliance with finished product specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Perform tool & cutter grinder machine daily maintenance. 2. Interpret cutting tool technical drawing. 3. Prepare tool & cutter grinder cutting tool and accessories. 4. Set up tool & cutter grinder grinding wheel. 5. Perform tool & cutter grinder machine operation. 6. Inspect finished cutting tool. 7.
