| Penerangan CU | Mechanical Precision Equipment and Instrument Technical Laboratory Competence Coordination describes the competency to coordinate an accreditation procedure for testing and calibration laboratories required by SAMM. This procedure also is an accepted mechanism for recognition by means of the Mutual Recognition Arrangements framework of the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (APLAC). The person who is competent in this CU should be able to organise technical laboratory competence requirements, organise Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) accreditation requirements and maintain technical laboratory competence accreditation. The outcome of this CU is the credibility, integrity and competency of laboratory functions and services adhered according to general criteria as published in MS ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM Policies (SP), Specific Criteria (SC) and Specific Technical Requirements (STR) used in assessments and accreditation process. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to adhere the credibility, integrity and competency of laboratory functions and services according to general criteria as published in MS ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM Policies (SP), Specific Criteria (SC) and Specific Technical Requirements (STR) used in assessments and accreditation process. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Organise technical laboratory competence requirements. 2. Organise Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) accreditation requirements. 3. Maintain technical laboratory competence accreditation. |
