| Penerangan CU | Pipeline Structure Erection is a process of erecting and installing pipe structure i.e. channels, beams, angle bar, plate, tubular member and gratings according to Structural drawings and specifications. A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify drawing requirement interpret Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), prepare tools, equipment and materials, set up safe working area, perform cutting and grinding work and execute fit up and installation. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the pipeline structure fit up operation is executed as per the requirement stated in the drawing and Work Specifications. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure the pipeline structure fit up operation is executed as per the requirement stated in the drawing and WPS. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees shall be able to: 1. Identify drawing requirement. 2. Interpret Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). 3. Prepare tools, equipment and materials. 4. Set up safe working area. 5. Perform cutting and grinding work. 6. Execute fit up and installation. |
