Pipe support is design transfers load from pipe to the supporting structure. A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify drawing requirement, prepare tools, equipment and materials, set up safe working area, mark pipe support location, and install pipe support. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the pipe support installation operation is executed as per the requirement stated in the pipe support drawing. |
