Machine tool calibration is a necessary action to be done for ensuring the manufactured products are accurate and precise. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to plan machine tool calibration, perform machine tool calibration, test machine tool performance and prepare machine tool calibration report. The outcome of this CU is machine tools precision, accuracy and tolerance are maintained at all times and complies with manufacturer’s specification and company policy. |
