Penerangan CU | Preschool Early Intervention Administration describes the process of administrating a structured intervention in various aspects of food and nutrition, psycho-motor, social interaction and family support to enhance children with delayed development which can be implemented immediately after the symptoms detected. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to evaluate children’s developmental delay status, administer children’s early prescribed intervention and monitor preschool children’s development and learning progress in accordance with organisation’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The outcome of this CU is are the preschool children’s early prescribed intervention programme administered in providing assistance to children with developmental disorder through cognitive, social-emotional, communication, speech and language, psycho-motor and self-help skills during the course of a child's formative years in accordance with organisation’s policy, regulation and organisation’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |

Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcome of this competency unit is the preschool children’s early prescribed intervention programme administered in providing assistance to children with developmental disorder through cognitive, social-emotional, communication, speech and language, psycho-motor and self-help skills during the course of a child's formative years in accordance with organisation’s policy, regulation and organisation’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Evaluate children’s developmental delay status. 2. Organise preschool children’s prescribed intervention. 3. Monitor preschool children’s development and learning progress. |
