| Penerangan CU | Survival Craft and Rescue Boat Operation describes the activities involved in launching, operating and recovering Survival Craft and Rescue Boat at sea. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform survivor craft and boat launching preparation, perform survival craft and rescue operation, operate survivor craft after abandoning ship, operate locating device communication, signalling apparatus and pyrotechnics and apply first aid to survivors. The outcome of this CU are survival craft and rescue boat operation carried out safely in accordance with SOLAS training manual. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this CU are survival craft and rescue boat operation are carried out safely in accordance with SOLAS training manual. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees shall be able to: 1. Perform survivor craft and boat launching preparation. 2. Perform survival craft and rescue operation. 3. Operate survivors and survivor craft after abandoning ship. 4. Operate locating device including communication, signalling apparatus and pyrotechnics. 5. Apply first aid to survivors. |
