| Penerangan CU | Ship Advance Sea Training describes the navigation and deck support activities to be completed during shipboard training at sea. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform safe navigational watch,perform berthing, anchoring and mooring operation, handle cargo and stores, operate deck equipment and machineries operation, comply with occupational safety and health, prevent marine pollution, perform shipboard maintenance and repair and operate survival craft and rescue boat. The outcome of this CU is navigational watch and deck support operation are performed as per STCW 1978 as amended 2010. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this CU is navigational watch and deck support operation are performed as per STCW 1978 as amended 2010.This CU needs to be conducted and verified during shipboard training at sea by means of completing training and assessment record book. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees shall be able to: 1. Perform safe navigational watch. 2. Perform berthing, anchoring and mooring. 3. Manage cargo and stores. 4. Manage deck equipment and machinery. 5. Comply with occupational safety and health requirements. 6. Prevent marine pollution. 7. Perform shipboard maintenance and repair. 8. Operate survival craft and rescue boat. |
