| Penerangan CU | Jacking Pipe Installation describes the competency of pushing pipe into the ground according to designated alignment and level, forming a continuous string of pipe using hydraulic jacks behind a tunnel boring machine. The method provides a flexible, structural, watertight finished pipeline according to work specifications and regulatory bodies requirements. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to identify pipe installation requirements, transfer precast jacking pipe to jacking pit, transfer slurry pipe to jacking pit, carry out precast jacking pipe and slurry pipe jointing work and install lubrication pump system. The outcome of this CU is precast jacking pipes pushed into the ground and pipeline is established in accordance with work specifications and regulatory bodies requirements. |
