| Penerangan CU | Mosaic Installation describes the installation of mosaic using cement sand mortar or adhesive and is part of building completion or finishing. A mosaic is a piece of art or image made from the assembling of small pieces of coloured glass, stone, or other materials. It is often used in decorative art or as interior decoration. Most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colours, known as tesserae (singular tessera). Some, especially floor mosaics, are made of small rounded pieces of stone and called pebble mosaics. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to perform work area preparation, prepare tools, equipment and materials, prepare substrate surface, install mosaic to flat surfaces, install mosaic to curved surfaces and install mosaic to circular column, perform mosaic finishing work and perform housekeeping activities. The outcome of this CU is the mosaic is properly installed in a good working condition according to construction drawing. |
