| Penerangan CU | Produce Ready to Wear (RTW) and Made to Measure (MTM) garment describes two types of garment design categories produced in close relationships with current market trends, specific concepts and themes in accordance with market/ client demand. RTW garment are clothing that is cut and sewn using a standard-sized base pattern that is made to fits most people and intended to be worn without significant alteration. While MTM garment is expected to be superior of a RTW garment due to the reason that MTM garments are constructed to fit each customer individually based on their body measurements. Customize personalised pattern that is entirely made from scratch according to customer's specifications with far more attention to minute fit details and may require multiple fittings during the construction process. All else being equal, a MTM garment will be more expensive than a ready-to-wear garment. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to establish garment production requirements, perform Ready To Wear (RTW) garment production, perform Made To Measure (MTM) garment production and perform post-production activity. The outcome of this CU is complete, wearable and detailed RTW and MTM garment produced according to design requirements and specification. |
