Penerangan CUPerform solar PV system preliminary assessment is the first and necessary step for all solar PV system installation activity. This is to determine on how a solar PV system should be designed and will work optimally before the installation took place. The site must be assessed for its solar resources and potential. A site assessment proposal will greatly increase customer satisfaction by thoroughly documenting expected energy production, estimated costs, available incentives and mounting options before making the decision to install a Solar PV system.

The person who is competent in this CU should be able to arrange solar PV system logistic and resources requirement, carry out solar PV system site visit assessment and carry out solar PV system technical proposal preparation.

The outcome of this CU is accurate information regarding the potential system locations, power-technology options based on historically available solar resources and economic, engineering, logistical and other project constraints, prepared before the project started in accordance with company objectives and targets.
