| Penerangan CU | Perform Search & Rescue (SAR) flight mission management describes competency as a flight navigator/mission commander in SAR mission flight over land and sea in Malaysia and neighbour region. The objective of the mission is to search for and provision of aid to people who are in distress or in imminent danger. This also includes any incident or catastrophe either on land or at sea such as natural disasters, flight incident and many other distress situations. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to determine SAR flight mission data, construct SAR flight mission navigation flight plan, prepare SAR flight mission documentations, execute SAR flight mission pre-flight brief, carry out SAR aircraft pre-flight check, carry out SAR flight mission in-flight cycle of duties and carry out aircraft post-flight procedure. The outcome of this CU is SAR safely conducted in accordance with Air Tasking Order and RMAF Air Power Doctrine (Strategy, Tactical and Operational). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to develop SAR mission plans and implement them to ensure SAR safely conducted in accordance with Air Tasking Order and RMAF Air Power Doctrine. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Determine SAR Flight Mission data. 2. Construct SAR flight mission navigation flight plan. 3. Prepare SAR flight mission documentations. 4. Execute SAR flight mission pre-flight brief. 5. Carry out SAR aircraft pre-flight check. 6. Carry out SAR flight mission in-flight cycle of duties. 7.
