| Penerangan CU | The basic routing configuration describes the competency required when configuring basic routing. He or she is the person to carry out basic routing configuration on site or remote access (operation center) after the router has been physically installed inclusive of all wiring. The person who is competent in basic routing configuration shall be able to prepare basic routing configuration devices environment requirements, carry out static route configuration, carry out Distance Vector Routing Protocol (DVRP) configuration, carry out Link State Routing Protocol (LSRP), conduct basic routing configuration assessment and report basic routing configuration activities. The outcome of this competency is to produce skilled workforce which is able to configure the routing table on the router in accordance with the given routing protocol, routing table, organisational requirements and standard operating procedures. |
