| Penerangan CU | Perform vascular sonography describes the competencies to carry out vessels of upper and lower limb, abdominal aorta, carotid and renal artery sonography including doppler study. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to conduct upper limb vascular ultrasound examination, conduct lower limb vascular ultrasound examination, conduct abdominal aortic aneurysm surveillance, conduct carotid doppler ultrasound examination and conduct renal artery doppler ultrasound examination. The outcome of this CU is the production of high-quality sonographic images with accurate clinical correlation for vascular sonography in compliance with regulatory health, safety and ethical requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to carry out vessels of upper and lower limb, abdominal aorta, carotid and renal artery sonography including doppler study and produce high quality sonographic images with accurate clinical correlation for vascular sonography. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Conduct upper limb vascular ultrasound examination. 2. Conduct lower limb vascular ultrasound examination. 3. Conduct abdominal aortic aneurysm surveillance. 4. Conduct carotid doppler ultrasound examination. 5. Conduct renal artery doppler ultrasound examination. |
