| Penerangan CU | Perform SMAW 5G and 6G butt welding describes the competency of welding pipe groove in uphill/downhill vertically position and overhead welding position. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out 5G pipe butt welding (uphill), carry out 5G pipe butt welding (downhill), carry out 6G pipe butt welding (uphill) and carry out 6G pipe butt welding (downhill). The outcome of this CU is to perform SMAW process in 5G and 6G butt weld on carbon steel pipe according to approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and work instruction. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency is to enable the trainee to perform SMAW process in 5G and 6G butt weld on carbon steel pipe according to approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and work instruction.
