| Penerangan CU | Perform SMAW 6GR butt welding describes the competency of restriction welding, which the “R” in the term 6GR is with restriction ring, while 6G in the term 6GR is the same as in 6G position. The difference with the 6G and 6GR position is the restriction ring and the bevel preparation. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare SMAW 6GR welding requirements, carry out SMAW 6GR welding and carry out SMAW 6GR visual inspection. The outcome of this CU is to perform SMAW process in 6GR butt weld on carbon steel pipe with restriction ring according to approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and work instruction. |
