| Penerangan CU | Execute radiographic safety and security operation describes the competency in radiography safety and security operation. He or She is responsible in ensuring the operation of radiation equipment safety, monitor radiation safety activities, monitor security activities, monitor transportation and storage of radioactive projector in storage pit in accordance with AELB requirements. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to acquire radiation monitoring devices, verify radiation equipment validity and functionality, transport Gamma-ray radioactive source and projector to worksite, transport X-ray radiography equipment to worksite, carry out Gamma-ray radiation safety practices, carry out X-ray radiation safety practices, ensure safe storage and security of Gamma-ray radioactive source and projector, ensure safe storage and handling of X-ray machine, perform emergency procedure involving Gamma-ray sources, and perform emergency procedure involving X-ray sources. The outcome of this CU is to establish knowledge and good practices of radiation safety and security operation during implementation of work in accordance with AELB and local / client requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to establish knowledge and good practices of radiation safety and security operation during implementation of work in accordance with AELB and local / client requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Acquire radiation monitoring devices. 2. Verify radiation exposure device maintenance validity and functionality. 3. Transport Gamma ray exposure device to worksite. 4. Transport X-ray radiography equipment to worksite. 5. Ensure Gamma-ray radiation safety compliance. 6. Ensure X-ray radiation safety compliance. 7. Ensure safe storage and security of Gamma ray radiation exposure device. 8. Ensure safe storage and handling of X-ray machine. 9. Perform emergency procedure involving Gamma ray sources. 10.
