| Penerangan CU | Perform water meter reading and billing describes competency in determining water usage at premises by taking meter readings and key in them into Handheld Terminal (HHT), serving water bills to consumers and filing reports or complaints about billing difficulties for countermeasures. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out water meter reading, carry out automated water meter reading, carry out estimated water meter reading and check water meter reading issues. The outcome of this CU is effective meter reading result, high billing efficiency and accuracy, as well as monitoring any violations of the water supply. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to carry out water meter billing resulting in high billing efficiency and accuracy, as well as monitor any violations of the Water Services Industry Act of 2006 and the Water Services Industry Rules of 2014 (Kaedah-kaedah Industri Perkhidmatan Air 2014). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Carry out water meter reading. 2. Carry out automated water meter reading. 3. Carry out estimated water meter reading. 4. Check water meter reading issues. |
