The vast options of computer hardware specifications and types of software application or utilities will be selected based on the user requirements specifications. This activity typically takes place before the computer systems is connected to the network and performed other computer network related software applications. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare computer system set-up components, carry out computer system hardware installation, carry out computer Operating System (OS) software installation, carry out computer application and device driver installation and prepare computer system installation record. The outcome of this CU is computer system is successfully fully installed with all the relevant hardware and software application in accordance with required computer system hardware and software requirements. |
