| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skill, knowledge and attitude requirements of aromatherapy body treatment. Essential oils can easily bring their unique healing properties to every cell of the body. They are traditionally used to help ease muscular aches and pains, improve circulation and ease congestion. They also have a positive effect on the skin, penetrating into the deeper layers to encourage the process of cellular renewal and enhance blood circulation. The epidermis, which is the outer layer of the skin, has several layers that are constantly in rotation and renewing themselves. Having a aromatherapy body treatment customized to one skin type on regular basis is the most beneficial way to keep the skin looking and feeling healthy and radiant. Aromatherapy full body massage is part of aromatherapy body treatment which is generally concerned with the purpose of beautification of the body skin. There are several acupressure points located on the body, and a massage will help to activate these points and help to heal certain conditions one may be suffering from.
