The person who is competent in this CU should be able to evaluate laboratory workplace safety, establish laboratory workplace safety, monitor hazardous materials handling and monitor chemical waste disposal. The outcome of this CU is safe working environment and prevention of hazards and pollutions according to Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Environment Quality Act (EQA) requirements. |
