| Penerangan CU | Develop water treatment works preliminary design describes the competencies to finalise water treatment system layout, water pre-treatment process requirements, residual treatment facility, assess earthwork, sediment and erosion, surface run off condition, topography and land status prior to designing water treatment works preliminary design. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to evaluate water treatment system location layout, verify water pre-treatment process requirement, analyse water treatment process requirement, produce earthwork & Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) report, produce storm water drainage report and verify water treatment balancing reservoir location. The outcome of this CU is an accurate, reliable, and comprehensive water treatment works preliminary design according to UBBL, Road and Drainage Act, water quality standard, MWA guideline, Environmental Quality Act (EQA) and Street, Drainage & Building Act (SDBA). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to develop water treatment works preliminary design according to UBBL, Road and Drainage Act, water quality standard, MWA guideline, Environmental Quality Act (EQA) and Street, Drainage & Building Act (SDBA). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Evaluate water treatment system location. 2. Verify water pre-treatment process requirement. 3. Analyse water treatment process requirement. 4. Produce earthwork & Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) report. 5. Produce storm water drainage report. 6. Verify water treatment balancing reservoir location. |
