The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out cocoa pod harvesting, carry out manual cocoa bean extraction, carry out mechanised cocoa bean extraction and carry out cocoa pod husk waste handling. The outcome of this CU is that cocoa pods are harvested properly to ensure the quality and quantity of cocoa beans in accordance with the cocoa planting manual and in compliance with Good Agricultural Practices. |
