| Penerangan CU | Music transcription is notating a piece or a sound which was previously not notated or creating sheet music from a recording and write down the notes that make up the song in music notation. Transcription may also mean rewriting a piece of music, either solo or ensemble, for another instrument or other instruments. Transcribing consists of writing down the melody or the chord sequence, or maybe all the separate instrumental parts in a song. The person who is competent in music transcription shall be able to prepare transcribing requirements, carry out transcribing and finalise music lead sheet transcription. The outcome of this competency is to transcribe music parts/lead sheet for a piece of music that is to be performed according to repertoire and performance requirements |
