Losses can be real losses (through leaks, sometimes also referred to as physical losses) or apparent losses (for example through theft or metering inaccuracies). High levels of NRW are detrimental to the financial viability of water utilities, as well to the quality of water itself The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse NRW management report, collate water distribution operation report, prepare NRW management proposal and obtain management approval The outcome of this competency is to ensure the organization achieved operational excellence in accordance organization objectives. |
