| Penerangan CU | Containerization is a system of intermodal freight transport using intermodal containers / shipping containers and ISO containers made of weathering steel. The containers have standardized dimensions ie. 20’, 40’, 45’, refrigerated, tank-tainer and flat racks. A technique of using a container to store, protect and handle cargo while it is in transit. Containerised Cargo Operation Control is the competency required in the port organisation system to maintain efficiency of containerised cargo operation activities. It is also to ensure work efficiency and safe working area practices complied in accordance with company management system policy and regulation. The person who is competent in containerised cargo operation control shall be able to prepare containerised cargo operation requirements, plan and control operation and produce containerised cargo operation report as per company regulation and policy The outcome of this competency is to enable/achieve successful control of containerised cargo operation activities for port organisation with safely applied procedures without injury or damage to manpower and equipment. |
