Penerangan CU | Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) design of improvement describes the competency required to study the current sewage and effluent load generated from Industries and other commercial facilities at Industrial area, estimate quality and quantity of waste water to be generated, evaluate the feasibility and viability for recommending the most suitable technology and procurement methodology for common effluent treatment plant (CETP) or/and sewage treatment plant (STP) or/and effluent treatment plant (ETP), present the preliminary costing, technology specifications, indicative design, Annual maintenance cost for the recommended CETP/STP/ETP and set High Level guidelines for construction and commissioning of the treatment plant. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to manage Industrial Effluent Characteristic Study (IECS), evaluate Feasibility Study (FS) and review new improvement options. The outcome of this competency is to ensure a comprehensive solution for industrial wastewater and treatment, also to improve the activated sludge system so that wastewater treatment can be more effective in compliance with operational Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) EQ (IER) in 2009 outlined in the Guidance Document on the Design and Operation of Industrial Effluents Treatment System. |
