| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in Timber Material Handling. Timber material handling demand well organised and structured work activities. It would lead to the effective and efficient work process in any production line especially in timber related industries. Well planned material handling promise high production yield and increase productivity in accordance with company standard operating procedure (SOP) and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its regulations. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare timber storage area, check timber delivery order (DO), determine work requirement, organise timber handling equipment requirements, upkeep timber handling record, verify timber handling record, verify timber delivery order (DO) record, supervise timber unloading and loading activity and prepare timber material handling activities report. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to handle material by using several methods. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare timber storage area. • Check timber Delivery Order (DO). • Determine timber works requirement • Organise timber handling equipment • Upkeep timber handling record. • Verify timber handling record. • Verify timber Delivery Order (DO) record. • Supervise timber unloading and loading activity • Prepare timber material handling report. |
