It is used to introduce new product, clear out inventories, attract traffic, and to lift sales temporarily. The person who is competent in product sales promotion shall be able to develop types of products promotion, plan products & accessories promotion, and organise the location of products promotion. The outcome of this competency is aimed at enticing the trade to stock up more and hence reduce stock-outs. Its increase share of shelf space and drive sales through the channels. |
