The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure machine efficiency and production is at optimum level to produce quality fabric based on customer order specifications and job instructions. The person who is competent in this competency unit should be able to comprehend machine functionality, configuration and work process and customer order specifications. He/she should be able to check production machine setup and production requirements, carry out machine setup and verify weft knitting machine setup. |
