This is to ensure machines operate in safe and optimum level. The outcome of this competency is to ensure machine maintenance is carried out so that weft knitting machines can be operated in a safe and efficient manner according to production specifications. The person who is competent in this competency unit should be able to comprehend machine functionality, configuration and maintenance requirements. He/she should be able to check maintenance requirements, carry out weft knitting machines maintenance monitoring and verify weft knitting machine maintenance. |
