| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in Timber Operation Waste Management. He or she is responsible to manage and dispose timber operation waste. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse timber operation waste management requirements, analyse timber operation waste specifications, identify storage location, prepare timber operation waste disposal schedule, dispose timber operation waste and record timber operation waste management Waste management has not been address according in timber related industries thus resulting in loss of revenue. A good waste management practice, rejected timber will be re-valued, recovered and re-evaluate for other commercial usage. The outcome of this competency is to manage timber operation waste properly in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Act OSHA) 1994 and its regulations and environmental act and regulations. |
