| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in eddy current written instruction preparation. He or she is responsible in preparing written instructions for specific ET techniques of plate and tube component by making reference to approved ET procedures and other inspection requirements to be used by qualified ET personnel. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to produce ET material sorting, non-conductive coating thickness measurement, surface discontinuities inspection, non-ferrous material thickness measurement and tube inspection written instruction. The outcome of this CU is the competency to produce ET written instruction by qualified personnel for use in eddy current testing in plate and tube industries. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare written instruction for eddy current inspection. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to:- • Apply principle and requirement for ET • Produce ET material sorting written instruction • Produce ET non-conductive coating thickness measurement written instruction • Produce ET surface and subsurface discontinuity inspection written instruction • Produce ET non-ferrous material thickness measurement written instruction. • Produce ET tube inspection written instruction |
