| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in Eddy current testing (ET) procedure development. He or she is responsible in identifying component, types of materials, area of interest to be inspected, determining equipment and materials parameters, level of qualification, identifying acceptance and rejection criteria, verifying and approving contract procedure. The personnel who are competent in this CU shallbe able to, assessET technical contract requirements, prepare ET material sorting / characterization procedure, prepare ET conductivity measurementprocedure, prepare ET non-conductive coating thickness measurement procedure, prepare ET surface / subsurface defect detection procedure, prepare ET non-ferrous material thickness measurement procedure and prepare ET tube inspection procedure. The outcome of this CU is the ET procedure is developed in accordance to code, standard and specification requirements. |
